Wekpe
Managing Director
Mr. Wekpe leads the entire Mowatek Team. He is the principal
strategist and business development executive of the Company. He is
also the chief image-maker of the Company, identifying and
nourishing business relationships through various networks.
Mr. Wekpe oversees the development and execution of business
development, marketing/sales, policies, customer relations,
operations, management strategies, planning and supporting budgets.
A seasoned administrator, Mr. Wekpe started his career with SDPC
(The Shell Development Company of Nigeria Limited) following his
return from the United Kingdom in the early seventies.

Akpokiniovo Wekpe
Head Project Management
Mr. E. Wekpe oversees the day-to-day operations of the business and
its teams with a view to binding them together to realise the
company’s vision and value. He oversees the day-to-day tactical
decisions to ensure that they are congruent with the overall
corporate strategy and vision.
He has over 10 years’ project management experience.
He holds a first degree (Bsc Hons) in Allied Physics from the
University of Lagos, and an MSc degree from the University of
Manchester.
Gamaliel
Akpokiniovo
Head, Civil Projects
Mr. Akpokiniovo is responsible for translating Mowatek’s vision for
its projects into reality through the conceptualization, design, and
development of projects that meet defined criteria for success and
long-term profitability of each project before development and/or
construction begins.
He is the chief advisor and strategist for civil projects
initiatives. Mr. Akpokiniovo leads the selection and management of
all consultants and contractors working on behalf of Mowatek on all
projects.
Mr. Akpokiniovo’s experience spans over 15 years in the Niger Delta
Region of Nigeria, working in main and sub contracting professional
consultancy.
Mr. Akpokiniovo has a first Degree in Civil Engineering from the
University of Port Harcourt.
Ahmed Tokosi
Chief Financial Office/Accountant
Mr. Tokosi is responsible for the financial strategy development and
execution in Mowatek and is responsible for integration of both
operational and financial measures aimed at growth and profitability
of the business. He also oversees budgeting, financial performance
monitoring and reporting responsibilities.
Mr. Tokosi has worked in various roles in a number of Nigerian based
companies and has gained a wealth of experience spanning over 10
years in areas of strategic financial accounting management to
financial accounting systems implementation.
Prior to joining Mowatek, Mr. Tokosi was the Accountant of one of
the leading manufacturing concerns in Lagos.
Mr Tokosi is a Chartered Accountant.
Patrick Akpobome
Patrick Akpobome is the Chief Operating Officer/Managing Director of
O and G Solutions. O and G Solutions are technical partners to
Mowatek Nigeria Limited in the area of Instrumentation and Control.
All instrumentation and control jobs are exclusively handled by O
and G Solutions.
Patrick Akpobome’s qualification includes 12 years experience in
various roles within the Expro Group, an International Oil and Gas
Company based in the UK: 1994 – 2000 as a Senior Engineer; 2000 –
Date as a Consultant.
Patrick was part of the engineering team that built Moni Pulo’s
50,000 BDG Floating Production Facility in 1998 at Great Yarmouth,
UK in record time and within budget.
He had the sole responsibility of developing the control and
shutdown philosophy for Moni Pulo’s 40,000 BPD Produced Water
Re-Injection Facility and successfully managed the projects from
start to completion in 2003.
Patrick holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Benin. His specialisation in developing and design of process
control and shutdown systems, application of programmable logic
controllers in system and plant automation, fire and gas detection
and control systems, gas turbine operation and maintenance,
engineering modification to improve systems performance an reduce
operating costs.
Ufuoma Obue
Ufuoma is the Head of our maintenance services department and
oversees all maintenance works and spares procurement.
He is responsible for evaluating all maintenance related job and
developing strategies and plans to successfully manage each job
based on the specifications given by the client.
Mr. Obue started his career as a laboratory analyst. Over the years
he has gained experiences as a crew member in various Sewage
Treatment Plant Operation and maintenance jobs.
