Wastewater Treatment
As a core business centered in the Water Industry, Mowatek is fully experienced
in the installation, repair and maintenance of sewerage systems, and
concentrates on providing a total service: from site investigation to
commissioning of works. Mowatek has at its command the processes and expertise
to deal with all sewage and sludge treatment and pumping problems irrespective
of size. To date the Company has been responsible for providing over 50 sewage
and sewage associated treatment installations.
Mowatek will operate on whatever basis is requested by the client, from the
supply of a single piece of equipment to the complete turnkey contract
management of large works involving the design, manufacture of all the
mechanical and electrical equipment installation; including the construction of
ancillary civil works, installation and ultimately contract operation if so
required.
In addition to offering a range of standard packages, Mowatek has designed many
large custom sewage and sludge treatment works. Many of these schemes have made
use of innovative technology developed by Mowatek and her partners. These have
included multi-stage biological processes capable of very high quality effluent
as well as advanced sludge treatment plants incorporating sludge conditioning
and dewatering.

Maintenance Services / Spares
Covering the whole of Nigeria, our Service & Spares Division can provide
spares, service, maintenance and operation of any water/wastewater treatment
installation. Our engineers are trained on a variety of topics including
electrical appreciation, confined space entry as well as undergoing process
training in the various aspects of water/wastewater treatment.
We carry out service operations for various customers, including annual
inspections and regular service visits, to daily operations of privately
owned sewage works. Our clients include many leading companies as well as
various government departments.
Our comprehensive after sales support includes;

Mowatek operates a 24-hour call out policy. Many of our contracts require a
response time to site of 2 hours or less and we pride ourselves on being

immediate despatch to selected clients.
With our fully equipped in-house state of the art maintenance workshop
manned by some of the best technical hands supported by our overseas
technical partners, Mowatek is able to carry out both off-site and on-site
repairs in record time.
Our spares procurement strategy involves maintaining a computerized enquiry
and status report for each client or project. These are updated on a daily
basis. All enquiries and orders are passed to our Purchasing Department
which is responsible for sourcing all spares.

Pumps
Mowatek Nigeria Limited are Sole Representatives & Distributors to Mono
Pumps Limited, UK, whose advance water/wastewater technology products are
currently promoted, supplied and installed by us.
Mono's product portfolio ranges from simple hand-pumps for rural water
supply through to diesel, electric and solar powered borehole pumps for
village/community or irrigation use. On the wastewater side, her product
range covers applications from a sewage pump package for a single house
through to heavy duty sludge grinders for the largest of municipal sewage
works.

Training
Mowatek Nigeria Limited provides comprehensive on-site and off-site training
programs that ensure that waster and wastewater treatment plant operators
have a firm knowledge base to proficiently and confidently handle all
aspects of plant operation.
Programs are tailored to precisely meet the needs of present and future
plant operators and can also be extended to include post-commissioning
services and refresher courses.
A combination of extensive hands-on and classroom training gives operators a
clear understanding of the water/wastewater system and all operational
functions such as performance monitoring, plant maintenance, and the
computer operator interface.
Our training courses includes, but not limited to the following:
